Type Fohr means so many things to me, but originally it was meant to describe my hair type. As an African American woman I have gone through trial and error when trying to get my hair right. I've never had a problem with growing hair thick, however I never seemed to grow it past a certain length. A few years ago I found hair forums and learned so much about relaxed hair, natural hair and transitioning hair for women of color. Thus I embarked on a healthy hair care journey. I never paid attention to it, but after researching and reading many topics on the boards, I finally figured out what my hair type was, Type 4. Trying to make it interesting and also incorporating my love for both hair and fashion, I came up with the word FOHr, which means Fashion Over Hair.
I am also a one woman Florida based online clothing boutique. I have a passion for fashion, very corny but take my business very serious. Always looking for a challenge, I think I've met my match. My goal is to offer shoes and clothing for every woman. She may like vintage, she may be a bit rock, a little hip, edgy or sweet. She may even be a little of all the above mentioned. I have a few other things up my sleeves, but that is totally TBA.
